
OVERVIEW:
Whyte Citrus was battling with double-digit electricity increases and interruptions with their power. We reduced multiple supply points from 5 to 1 with a rooftop Solar PV Microgrid installation on their packhouse. The microgrid generates energy which is used to power irrigation, a packhouse, staff houses and the farmhouse, ensuring a reduced reliance on the national grid and a secure energy supply.
